Going into this shoot, I knew that I might have a chaotic morning ahead of me, with a four year old, two year old and 7 month old. But I came out realizing that chaos is what makes family so beautiful, when you can only throw your head back and laugh and thank God for precious memories of your little ones.

Like this one…one of the last shots of the session, we had already gone through melt-downs, kitties on the loose, and sleepy kids wanting nothing more than for me to get out of their faces. It was absolutely wonderful though, watching these little girls snuggle up to their mom and dad and know there was no better place in the world. In my book, this is love.

It truly is a small world we live in! I met Eliza Paige’s mom through a mutual friend here in Lynchburg, but it turns out this little girl’s dad actually worked at my high school in Waynesboro, while I was a student there.

Anyway, we met up this morning at Randolph College…and thankfully we had a cool start to this very hot day. I was super excited to meet Eliza Paige and I had seen pictures, but she really is a cutie pie in person! She has the cutest little smile she let peek through every now and then, and has a very easy going personality. Eliza Paige did great~check her out!

So I know that there are many very anxious family members waiting on this sneak peek! But I promise you, these shots are super cute. But then again, Roxy is super cute and I don’t think she could make a bad portrait. I mean, look at her…seriously. And for those of you seeing Roxy for the first time, yes, she is only one and has all this hair! I about passed out when I heard that she’s had seven haircuts already. Alright, without any further ado…

I photographed big brother Charlie two years ago when he turned one. They have since moved out of town, so it was great seeing how much he had grown. I think Roxy is wondering what in the world Charlie is doing…look at that face!
