Happy birthday, Abigail! This spunky girl was one of my Delaney’s first friends~her mom and I met at a class at the Y and spent hours walking the trails together when the girls were still itty-bitty. Now Abigail is practically walking, talking, and has a mouth full of teeth!
She took a little bit of time to warm up during our session but once she got going, we were on a roll! I’ll start you off with my favorite shot of the day…

Love, love, love this family…
Kerry is a good friend of mine and so I really have fun working with her hubby and kiddos. I know the girls pretty well so it takes some of the guesswork out of the session. Notice I said some, not all?!? We definitely had some laughs last night as Jocelyn (aka Miss Thang) was being decidedly two years old, a couple of months early. But despite mom stressing just a little bit about it, we got some amazing shots.

Heidi and Eric just adopted beautiful little Grace, and it was so abundantly clear how much they already love her and absolutely adore her. Both are completely smitten! But then again, one look at her and you’ll see why…her dark curls and big blue eyes, the wide, gummy smile, and the inquisitive personality she has at just four months old. By the way, Grace LOVES noisy trucks! We found some quiet spots in downtown Lynchburg to help this family remember such a special time in their lives.

Here’s one of my favorite families, coming back for their spring portrait session. Mom asked that above all else, I try to get one good shot of Maggie and Owen together. Well, here you go! Let me tell you, this was no easy feat. Owen is one fast little guy and with no fear of anything, he was having a blast exploring everything we saw.
