Simple Reflections Photography – Bozeman, MT »

Maybe it was because I was determined to go out with a bang, this being my last wedding in Virginia before I head out west. Maybe it was because the bride and groom were completely adorable. Maybe it was the fabulous details, the beautiful weather (despite the ninety degree temps), or the guests determined to have fun. Those could easily be the reason why Andy and Katie’s wedding day was absolutely perfect…or it could be because they are totally crazy for each other, and it shows.

Andy and Katie chose the beautiful Longacre B&B as their venue. The grounds were stunning and Dana couldn’t have been more helpful!

Doesn’t Katie remind you of Katherine Heigl? Gorgeous…

The first thing I noticed when I met this family were the fabulously bright and fun colors they were wearing. It definitely set the mood and we were ready to go! I met up with the Brightwells downtown and enjoyed a few laughs as we tried not to roast in the heat. But even Sally the dog did a great job! Here’s their sneak peek~

Talk about a skeptical bunch! These four kids were having no part of my usual antics to get the shot, but that’s the fun of it, right? We explored around their yard a bit, then it was time to bring out the hose. That day had been an absolute scorcher so it topped off the evening nicely. I was even glad when little Piper got a mischievous look in her eye and I knew what was coming next…a nice cool down on my part:) Here you go!

Beautiful weather, a beautiful family, and some great shots! I met the Laughon’s at the Old City Cemetery and right away knew that I was working with a bundle of energy with the three kids. But my camera was ready and I was set to go!

Let’s just say that this little guy caused much anxiety for mom and dad during our session!  We were all sure he would be wet before the end, but he had to get up close and personal with the bullfrog. Thankfully, no unexpected dips in the pond!
