Americana: Drill Team Competition

So it was by chance (or was it?) that when I met someone at a “Books and Babies” class at the local library, she told me that her horse drill team was hosting the state competition right here in Bozeman and needed a photographer. It had been a month since we had moved from Virginia and I was itching to grab my camera and get to work!  Let me just tell you though, I’ve only ever been on a horse twice in my life, the last time about 15 years ago, so I was a little apprehensive about what I was doing. But the teams were fantastic, the horses beautiful, and the weather perfect! The weekend turned out to be a great one.
